Physical Therapy

There is no substitute for experience. Decades of combined clinical experience have taught us that treating the whole person gets superior results, when compared to manipulating an isolated body part. Because your body functions as one interrelated whole, we offer each patient a highly advanced, integrated, and personal approach to physical therapy. Our therapists attend continuing education courses, obtain advanced training and certifications, and serve as clinical instructors to physical therapy students from throughout the country. All of these further serve to ensure excellent, state-of-the-art care.

Sports Rehab

Sports injuries may result from poor training, accidents during play, overtraining, lack of conditioning, and/or insufficient warm up. Our physical therapists are athletes themselves. They understand the importance of providing a multidisciplinary approach to sports injury rehabilitation and the need to get you back in the game as quickly and safely as possible. Whether your sport is “climbing the Grand,” skiing, bicycling, or participating in golf, football, soccer, or basketball, your rehabilitation will be tailored to meet your specific needs

Orthotics

Orthotics are a custom molded insert for your shoe that biomechanically aids in keeping your foot and entire lower extremity functioning properly. They are used not only to treat foot problems, but also ankle, knee, hip, and low back symptoms. (The “foot bone’s connected to the . . . . . .”!) Our physical therapists have been trained and certified in the newest technologies regarding orthotics. HPPT brought the founder of Sole Supports, Dr. Edward S. Glasser, to Driggs to train and certify our therapists in the fitting of orthotics. In addition, we have therapists who have been working with orthotics for more than 20 years. Let us help you when your feet touch the ground!

Pediatric Therapy

Our pediatric team consists of physical, occupational and speech therapists. Any child who is developmentally delayed in gross motor, fine motor or speech language skills could benefit from these services.

Counseling and Biofeedback

With over 27 years of clinical experience, our licensed clinical social worker provides treatment for anxiety, depression, pain management, stress-related disorders, and other emotional/behavioral problems. Treatment includes individual, couples, and family psychotherapy and biofeedback. Biofeedback is used to treat stress-related disorders, chronic pain (including fibromyalgia), headaches, and anxiety disorders. Our biofeedback program employs computer software that assists the individual in understanding how emotions and physiology interact to either maintain or worsen physical and/or emotional symptoms. As a result, the individual is provided treatment strategies that allow for the healthy management of symptoms.

Home Health and Hospital Care
